TEXAS PRIMA SCHOLARSHIPS

The Texas PRIMA Conference Scholarship Program is designed to assist public entity professionals whose entity could not otherwise afford to pay the cost of attending Texas PRIMA's annual conference.  Watch this video to see how the Texas PRIMA Scholarship changed one recipient's career! Scholarships include conference registration, annual Texas PRIMA membership and hotel accommodations; a $742 value.

Applicants will be notified of status prior to the October 14th early registration deadline. Applicants who pay for conference registration or membership will not be refunded. 

Annual Conference Scholarship

Application is closed.

Only (1) applicant per organization is eligible to receive a scholarship. A limited number of full and partial scholarships will be awarded. To be eligible for an Annual Conference Scholarship, an applicant:

  • Must be an employee of a Texas public entity
  • Shall have direct or indirect responsibility for the risk management, insurance, employee benefits, loss prevention and/or safety function(s) for the organization
  • Must not have attended a Texas PRIMA annual conference in-person during the previous (2) years and must not have received a Texas PRIMA Conference scholarship in the previous (5) years
 

Annual Conference Student Scholarship

Full and partial scholarship funds are awarded for registration, Texas PRIMA annual membership and lodging. A limited number of student scholarships are available. To be eligible for an Annual Conference Student Scholarship, an applicant:

  • Must be pursuing a degree in public administration, risk management, human resources, or other related field.
  • Must be a full-time students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located in the state of Texas.
