Membership Types:

Public Entity

Member is employed by a government entity (i.e. counties, municipalities, cities, towns, special districts, school districts as defined in Texas Administrative Code 89.1094, housing authorities, State governments, or other instrumentalities of a State).

Member is employed by a governmental entity (i.e. political subdivisions as defined in Texas Administrative Code 821.4).

Corporate

Member is employed by a corporation or non-profit entity.

Retiree

Must have been active Texas PRIMA member at time of retirement from a public entity.

Student

Full-time students only.

Transitional

Texas PRIMA members and former members who are temporarily unemployed. Email [email protected] to apply for a transitional membership.

Texas PRIMA's membership year is October 1st to September 30th. Dues fees are per year, per individual member, not entity. Membership category is based on the member's employer. We do not offer group/company rates, prorating or discounts. Only public entity members have voting privileges during Texas PRIMA’s annual membership meeting.
